Neue Entwicklerversion: Mac OS 10.8.2 kurz vor der Freigabe
Kurz vor Apples iPhone-Event heute Abend haben Mac-Entwickler noch eine neue Beta-Version für OS X Mountain Lion erhalten. Der Liste der enthaltenen Änderungen nach zu urteilen wird hier inzwischen hauptsächlich Feinschliff betrieben und eine baldige Veröffentlichung scheint durchaus wahrscheinlich.
Unter anderem wird die Facebook-Integration verfeinert und es erscheinen ans iPhone gesandte iMessages nun auch auf dem Mac. Darüber hinaus können FaceTime-Anrufe an die Telefonnummer eines iPhone nun auch am Mac oder mit einem iPad angenommen werden.
Gestern haben wir bereits über die mit OS X 10.8.2 erwarteten Verbesserungen der Akkulaufzeit berichtet. Eine Veröffentlichung parallel zur Freigabe von iOS 6 würde aufgrund der vielen Verknüpfungen zwischen beiden Systemen durchaus Sinn machen. Genaueres hierzu werden wir wohl bereits heute Abend auf dem Apple-Event erfahren.

Ne glaub ich kaum. Wir sind dabei, wissen aber erst wenn wir vor Ort sind ob dort die Anbindung vernünftig ist. Auf jeden Fall machen wir direkt im Anschluss wie immer erste Fotos und Hands-on-Videos.

Man wie lange brauchen die denn um den patch freizugegeben ? wenn sie sich mal vorher soviel mühe gemacht hätten, dann wäre denen sicherlich auch aufgefallen das die akkus nicht mehr solange halten.
Kann mir jemand bitte mal sagen, wo in Mountain Lion eine Facebook Anbindung ist? Danke!
Die Einbindung kommt noch, ist noch nicht verfügbar. Würde aber behaupten, das die FB-Integration nicht Ausschlaggend für den Kauf ist, oder?
Nein, natürlich nicht. Ich habe es ja bereits gekauft und installiert. Leider ist man heute aber „gezwungen“ zumindest teilweise die Sozialen Medien zu nutzen und daher wollte ich wissen, wie es sich mit der Integration von Facebook verhält. Danke für die Antwort.

• iMessages sent to your phone number now appear in Messages on your Mac
• From Safari and Mail on your Mac you can add passes to Passbook on your iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 6
• New shared Reminders lists
• FaceTime now receives calls sent to your phone number
• New sort options allow you to sort notes by title, the date you edited them, and when you created them
• Dictation now supports Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Korean, Canadian English, Canadian French, and Italian
• The Dictionary application now includes a French definition dictionary
• Sina Weibo profile photos can now be added to Contacts
The 10.8.2 update also includes general operating system fixes that improve the stability, compatibility and security of your Mac, including the following fixes:
• An option to discard the changes in the original document when choosing Save As
• Unsent drafts are opened automatically when launching Mail
• Receive Twitter notifications for mentions and replies from anyone
• URLs are shortened when sending tweets from Notification Center
• Notifications are disabled when AirPlay Mirroring is being used
• SSL support for Google searches from the Smart Search Field in Safari
• New preference to have Safari launch with previously open webpages
